{"id":304,"date":"2013-03-17T12:11:28","date_gmt":"2013-03-17T12:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/offthehookontheplate.com\/?p=304"},"modified":"2013-03-17T12:11:28","modified_gmt":"2013-03-17T12:11:28","slug":"fishing-adventures-that-are-sure-to-end-with-an-off-the-hook-recipe-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/offthehookontheplate.com\/?p=304","title":{"rendered":"Fishing adventures that are sure to end with an Off the Hook recipe!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h8vvG5iRmPQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nCabbage Rolls Stuffed Fish &#038; Wild Rice<br \/>\n8 cabbage leaves<br \/>\n1 \u00bc lb. white fish<br \/>\n1 \u00bd tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning<br \/>\n1 cup wild rice cooked<br \/>\n\u00bc cup light mayonnaise<br \/>\n1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes partially drained<br \/>\n1 lemon sliced in 8 slices<br \/>\nCrack black pepper<br \/>\nPreheat oven at 350.  Spray with nonstick cooking spray a 9 x 9 baking dish and set aside.<br \/>\nOn stove top on medium high heat in a deep pot place cabbage leaves with 3 inches of water and boil for a couple of minutes just to softened the leaves drain well.<br \/>\nIn a frying pan drizzled with olive oil cook fish on medium high heat for 4 minutes on first side flip and cook an additional 2 minutes. Let fish cool<br \/>\nIn a mixing bowl add fish and crumble with fork.  Add rice and mayonnaise to fish and mix well.  Lay cabbage leaves flat and using a cookie scoop place 2 scoops of fish mixture in center of cabbage leaves form into a roll and roll tight. Repeat for remaining 7 and place in baking dish.  Cover cabbage rolls with crushed tomatoes.  Add cracked black pepper to taste and top with lemon slices.
