{"id":129,"date":"2012-06-03T11:26:04","date_gmt":"2012-06-03T11:26:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/offthehookontheplate.com\/?p=129"},"modified":"2012-06-03T12:00:20","modified_gmt":"2012-06-03T12:00:20","slug":"offshore-fishing-adventure-that-is-sure-to-end-with-an-off-the-hook-recipe-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/offthehookontheplate.com\/?p=129","title":{"rendered":"Offshore fishing adventure that is sure to end with an off the hook recipe!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/STFOUC79-vU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nPerfect fried fish<br \/>\nPrep: 8 min Cook:9 min Serve: 4<br \/>\n1 \u00bd lbs white grunt or any white fish<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\nPinch of sea salt &#038; cracked black pepper<br \/>\n\u00bd cup crushed Ritz crackers<br \/>\n\u00bd cup instant potato flakes<br \/>\n\u00bd cup Italian bread crumbs<br \/>\n2 cups canola oil.<br \/>\nLemon wedges to squeeze on top of fried fish<br \/>\nAdd oil to a deep frying pan or cast iron pan on medium heat and let it heat up to 350 degrees no more then 375 degrees.<br \/>\nStart by mixing the eggs, sea salt &#038; pepper together in a bowl.  Add fish and coat on all sides.<br \/>\nIn a separate shallow dish mix well crackers, potato flakes and bread crumbs.<br \/>\nTake your fish out of the egg mixture and tossed gently in the breading and coat well on all sides.<br \/>\nAdd to frying oil and fry 5 minutes on first side until breading start to golden a little flip and cook additional 4 minutes.
